What's a Crawl?

Pub crawls are said to have started back before recorded time. Some say that Stonehedge is actually just a map for one of the biggest pub crawls ever made!

The idea is simple. You and your buddies travel from one bar to the next to enjoy the best that Akron has to offer. The original pub crawls were usually done in one night, but Akron has so many great bars that we made the Akron Pub Crawl last for an entire month.

Being a member of the Crawl has it's rewards. Be the first in your group to complete the current crawl and gain bragging rights! Find your new favorite place to shoot pool or sing karaoke! Meet that someone special on the dance floor in a club you didn't even know existed!

Plus, you will have your name immortalized on the web! We will be adding a leader board to display the names of all the current members and their standing. We will also have an archive board with all members of past crawls who completed the official list in time. How's that for a resume enhancer!

It's not hard. Just sign up, and enjoy. Every couple months we will begin a new crawl. The official list will be released and we will email you a copy with the beginning and end dates of the crawl. Then you just visit every bar on the list in the time given. (For safety reasons, we don't reccommend you attempting to visit all the bars in the same night, or even the same weekend. You will have plenty of time. Take the whole month to complete the crawl so you may enjoy each and every stop along the way.)

When you are at a bar on the official list, just pay using your credit or debit card so your name is on the receipt. Then, the next morning (or afternoon probably) scan your receipt and upload it to the site. Feel free to add any pictures you want as well. Of course, the pictures will be edited if they are too naughty. And treasured forever if extremely naughty!
